The Hotel du Théâtre next to the Limmat once wrote theatre history. The "du Théâtre" had been one of the most famous boulevard stages in the german speaking area in the fifties.
A few years ago the hotel has been renovated by an outstanding interior design. In the contemporary "du Théâtre" our guests are starring. Every room has different measures and shapes. The special equipment of these rooms provides the hotel with its extraordinary charm and indulgence. The "du Théâtre" is a magnanimous city hotel full of stories - these are dramatic, thrilling or amusing and also narrated by audio books / radio plays.
The rich breakfast buffet (excl.) in the "la suite" lounge offers the optimal start of your day. The view from the glass cube to the lively city and the nostalgic Polybahn stimulates all senses.
You may round out the day in the "la suite" lounge with an aperitif or delightful dinner (closed on Saturday and Sunday).
The Hotel du Théâtre is the first hotel in Switzerland which was awarded with the label for “good indoor air”. The label “GI Gutes Innenraumklima” is a quality assurance instrument which tests the room for indoor pollutants.
